Experience:After graduating from Vanderbilt University with a BS in Biomedical Engineering, Mary Kate joined Rice 360° as a Global Health Fellow from 2015-2017. She led the development of an infant incubator and temperature monitor through several rounds of testing and prototyping, culminating in clinical trials in both Houston and Malawi. After her fellowship, Mary Kate took a year off to re-energize, travel, and spend time with family and friends, including a brief stay in former fellow Becky Selle’s minivan. She now works as an Associate Project Manager for Boston Scientific, focusing on supporting teams through product development in Endoscopy.
