The Rice360

Day One Project

The Rice360 Day One Project started as a way to support and celebrate Day One of a baby’s life. This Mother’s Day, we invite you to support the Rice360 Day One Project and celebrate the hope a mother feels on Day One of their child’s life.

We at Rice360 believe every mother deserves the confidence that they are supported by quality maternal and infant health care no matter where they live. With your donation, we will be able to continue our work toward accessible quality health care for mothers and babies. We design technologies specifically for low-resource communities to ensure hope for a healthier future. With every gift made in honor of a special mom in your life, they will be mailed a Mother’s Day Card explaining your gift.

This year, the Day One Project supports the NEST360 Infrastructure Improvement Fund: a cost-share approach that helps fund newborn facilities in sub-Saharan Africa upgrading their newborn units and addressing specific infrastructural challenges related to newborn care.

Every mother deserves the confidence that their medical community is supported by high-quality maternal and infant technology no matter where they live. Together, we can give all mothers an opportunity to celebrate Day One of their baby’s life.

With your past support, the Day One Project has already saved babies' lives.

Baby Chisomo is alive today because of a CPAP unit developed by Rice360. Babies across the world now have access to the Pumani CPAP.

The new neonatal ward is open at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital! Plans to improve infant care across Malawi are in place.

Rice360 is developing maternal health technologies to help keep mom and baby safe before, during, and after delivery.
